1. User Accounts
In order to access certain features of our Service, you must register for a SeeSo account. Registration information you share with us, and that we collect and store, may include, without limitation, your email address (or user ID for other services such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and/or Kakao Account) and password (such information, collective “Required Information”).

Information you provide us. In addition to the Required Information you provide us when you create a SeeSo account, we may collect and use other information that you choose to provide to us, such as your pictures and personal interests.
Information generated and collected when you use our Service. In addition, when you use our Service, we automatically collect certain personally non-identifiable information from you which is collected passively using various technologies and enable us to serve you more efficiently.
Even if you choose to not provide any information other than the Required Information, you will still be able to enjoy our Service. Moreover, we do not collect personally sensitive information such as information about your race, beliefs, political views, medical records or criminal history.

Our servers automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of our Service. Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device and application IDs, search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Service, for example, when you sign into our Service, view videos hosted by Melephant, or interact with our email notifications. We may share information under the following circumstances: (i) In response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us, in our sole discretion. (ii) When we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, report or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of our company, our users, our employees, or others; to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement; or to enforce our website terms and conditions or other agreements or policies.
Aggregated or Non-Personal Information. We may share aggregated and non-personal information we collect and share it with third parties and our Affiliates to develop and deliver targeted advertising throughout our Service and on websites of third parties. We may combine non-personal information we collect with additional non-personal information collected from other sources. We also may share aggregated information with third parties, including advisors, advertisers and investors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis. Our policy is to discard your information promptly once the purpose of collection and use of your personal information have been fulfilled or your account with us is terminated. Notwithstanding, we will retain your Information for a certain period of time as required under the applicable laws and regulations or pursuant to our internal policy for the following purposes before discarding it.
- All records: if you are being investigated by relevant authorities for alleged violation of applicable laws, retained until such investigation is concluded; and (ii) if there is an unsettled financial obligation between you and the Company, retained until such obligation is settled.
- Records on verification of your identity: Retained for six months as required under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection Etc.
- Records on date and time of communication, your number, location etc.: Retained for a year as required under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act
- Records on computer communication, log on, location: Retained for three months, as required under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act.
13. Discarding Policy
Once we determine that certain Information has fulfilled the purpose for which it was collected and are no longer required to be retained, we will discard such Information in the following manners with our Personal Information Manager’s approval.
Paper records will be either shredded or incinerated, and electronic records will be discarded in an irreversible manner using Low Level Format method or other technical methods.

We take appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. For example, only authorized employees are permitted to access personal information, and they may do so only for permitted business functions.
